Propmaster

Another job I had was getting the props for the filming and finding out where to get them.

Firstly I looked at costumes for this I thought the interviewer would need some sort of suit this was convenient as the suit was already there as the actor was already wearing it so we just took the die and the blazer of him to make it look more natural for a detective with more of the rough look.

Next I decided to look at the costume that David Jones would play my role in the movie. David Jones is seen as a "chav" so the costume that he must wear must come across as the stereotype of a chav so a all black tracksuit was the first thing I thought of adding to his costume the next was the shoes  looked at the most common shoes for this stereotype and saw they where all back trainers so they where worn by David Jones. The signature piece of costume for this character is his coat this big coat is something he rarely takes off and if he does it wont be far away.

The final character we needed a costume for was Wallace Stafford the young apprentice the person who  got murdered the costume I needed to get for this was a smart young man on his way home on a cold day from work.So for this i once again though the suit would be work for this costume partnered with a smart coat this worked very well for the costume of our murder victim.

Other props we used was the cricket bat we had to use this for David to attack Wallace we wanted to use a baseball but as they are not common in britain so we had to use a more common bat a cricket bat.

The final 2 props we used where also recording equipment the laptop and microphone they suited the stereotype well.

(Microphone laptop and interviewer)
(David Jones)
(Wallace Stafford)
