When we look at opening credits in films we can see many conventions in it. The style and font of opening credits can tell you a lot about a film and the genre it will be.
The font of the credits can tell you a lot about a film for example the title of a film in the opening credits of a horror film will look something like this. You can clearly see from this font that this shows horror.
This text is clearly the title of a action film as it is big and bold. Similar to a comic book style as most of them are action super hero type films.
This title is for a animation genre you can tell this by the childish text at the front although not all animation is childish you can tell from this what kind of animation it is.
