Different Stereotypes and Conventions in Thrillers.

All films have different stereotypes and conventions this is the main thing they all have in common here I am going through the stereotypes and conventions of a horror films.

Female 

The general stereotype of a woman in a horror film is the victim. They are perceived as young and vulnerable normally quite attractive. She always seems to be defenseless and seen as flimsy also jump and scream at every opportunity, Which is why she is often perceived as a victim.

Psycho 
A very common stereotype is the psycho no good thriller is without one. This person is often rich and seen as crazy. The emotionless character targets the "victims" of the thriller for often no valid reason rather than fun. He is perceived as powerful by using low angel shots.
